The construction of the second phase of Office Park Plovdiv has started. The investor of the project is Galaxy Investment Group – a company with solid portfolio and years of experience in the development of projects in different categories of real estate property.
On the 17th of July, the official groundbreaking was done by Konstantin Boyadzhiev, CEO of Galaxy Investment Group. The second phase of Office Park Plovdiv is expected to be completed in 2020. At the moment, more than 900 people are working in the office building, whose first phase was completed in the end of 2016. The investor company is planning to open another 900 jobs after the completion of the second phase.
Office Park Plovdiv is a Class "A" office building with a gross built-up area of 10 336 sq. m. Continuing Phase 1 best practices, the investor aims to meet the ever-increasing requirements of IT and BPO companies operating in Plovdiv. The building consists of eight levels, including one ground floor, six office floors, and underground parking lots. The vision relies on modern style, high energy efficiency, and high quality of input materials and infrastructure.
"The already full capacity of Phase 1 and the strong growth of IT and BPO companies in Plovdiv create a shortage of high-class office space in the city. For the next few years, we have ambitious plans, which we start to implement gradually with today's first sod," said Konstantin Boyadzhiev, CEO of Galaxy Investment Group.
The construction of the building has a net office area of 1 110 sq. m per floor and allows to be divided into four independent office units. The height of office levels is 3.50 m, while the clear height is 2.85 m, which corresponds to the depth of the premises and provides a rich natural illumination of the internal spaces.
The project also envisages the implementation of high-tech building installations, including the latest generation of efficient air conditioning and ventilation, addressable fire-alarm system, access control and video surveillance. Interiors are designed with double floor and suspended ceiling for functional layout of cable and pipe infrastructure. Professional property management will assist to the workers in the building. There is a 24-hour security and a general reception, ensuring the comfort of work environment. A cafeteria, a restaurant and recreation areas will be located in the building providing additional comfort for the occupants.
The building is located in the greenest part of the city, close to Mall Plovdiv and the Recreation and Culture Park, overlooking Svoboda Boulevard, the green areas of the Western district and the Youth Hill. Seven lines of the public transport have bus-stops in a radius of 500m. Currently, among the tenants of the office building are established Bulgarian and foreign companies, including SiteGround, Bulpros, Football Radar, Codenest, Delasport, Accenture, VSG, UBB and others.
