Galaxy Investment Group participated in the “Second International Conference for Industrial Property”, which was held on 16.10.2019. Representatives of state institutions, leading Bulgarian and foreign investors, analysts, and real estate consultants took part in the event. For a second consecutive year the event was hosted by BGSKLAD.
The main focus of the conference were industrial zones and their development in the country, the demand for industrial areas, and the specifics of the market over the past year. From the discussions it became apparent that more and more investors prefer plots with already built infrastructure, which will ensure the quick implementation of production and logistics projects.
In the fourth panel of the conference "Industrial parks and large industrial sites. What happens to them?" Stefan Karpuzov, Investment manager at Galaxy Investment Group, presented Industrial Park Markovo and commented that more than 50% of its plots have been sold.
"Some of the first investors in the industrial zone have already started the construction of their projects, and by the end of the year several more clients will start building theirs too. One of the advantages of Industrial Park Markovo is its proximity to the city of Plovdiv and also the convenient transport links with the main arterial roads in the region. For us the success of the project is an example that companies prefer plots with fully completed infrastructure over other alternatives that would take more time and expenses for the investors", commented Stefan Karpuzov during the panel.
